We offer in-person outpatient psychiatry at locations in Southlake, San Antonio, and Houston (Sugar Land). Interventional psychiatry services are provided exclusively at the Southlake clinic.

We offer intramuscular (IM) and sublingual ketamine therapy for eligible adults with treatment-resistant depression at our Southlake clinic.

What is Spravato and how does it differ from ketamine?

Accepted Answer

Spravato is an FDA-approved nasal spray form of esketamine for treatment-resistant depression, given in a REMS-certified clinic. Ketamine therapy uses IM or sublingual racemic ketamine.

Question 5

Do I need a driver after treatment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After ketamine or Spravato treatment, patients must have a responsible adult drive them home due to temporary cognitive and motor impairment.
