DR. JAMES T. FUQUA, MD
Dr. Fuqua is a medical doctor certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry. Based in San Antonio, he is a native of Texas who attended UT Austin for his undergraduate studies and then completed medical school and psychiatric residency at UT Health Science Center San Antonio. Dr. Fuqua was drawn to a career in psychiatry by his interest in human behavior and the rewarding and meaningful experiences he has working with patients.
Dr. Fuqua has extensive training using both medication and psychotherapy to improve mental health. He seeks to insure every patient receives treatment that is both effective and safe while providing insight, guidance, and a stable therapeutic relationship that patients can rely upon. DR. NICOLE NGUYEN, MD
Dr. Nguyen is a medical doctor and board-certified psychiatrist. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences with a minor in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Southern California prior to returning to her home state of Texas to complete both her medical school and residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
She specializes in working with adult populations with concerns for ADHD, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, LGBTQ+ issues, OCD, and PTSD. She aims to demonstrate compassion while understanding her patients as individuals, taking into account their goals and backgrounds in formulating a treatment plan.
